3D nanoprinter

ЦИТ-Нано / CIT-Nano / Researches / Perspective researches

Nanoprinter is designed to create nanoscale devices and devices with a given geometry of the elements in a common laboratory conditions with fully automated process (performed by the program) and does not require high qualifications or special training of the staff. Sizes of the structures, formed from various metals, are from 50 nm to tens of microns in height to diameter ratio greater than 10. Nanoprinter is a portable device consisting of a block of the scanning head to the tip, built-in computer and control unit.

The proposed device has no analogues to date on the principle of operation and the set of parameters either in Russia or abroad.

At the present time for creating a given geometry of nanostructure objects, using a series of stationary devices (mostly foreign). Among which are the following devices.

Stationary nanolithography installation by Cannon used in the production of modern microprocessors and memory circuits by AMD, Intel and other companies. Such device have a resolution of 30-50 nm (by creating a specially adjusted masks) and cost more than 5 billion rubles.

Particle accelerators and nuclear reactors used to create high nanostructures (Lithographie, Galvanoformung, Abformung) . They are used in the largest research centers like Kurchatov Institute. These plants are unique, has greatl cost and are not available for purchase on the free market.

Installation of electron lithography and ion etching (firm Jeol, Oxford Instruments, Raith) also represent a stationary equipment used in major research centers and costs about 100 million rubles.

The main advantages of our device are low cost (less than 2,5 million rubles.), portability, high resolution (better than 10 nm), possibility of formation of tall structures, ease of maintenance (the unit will operate in fully automatic mode for a given program).

Field of application: Manufacture of modern microchips and microwave devices, prototyping of optical elements of nanometer-sized, education purposes.
